Preparing K-5 Students for a STEM Future

This report provides an overview of EDC’s Elementary Science Summit. The author spotlights the speakers, shares the Summit’s objectives, and describes opportunities and challenges to improving elementary science education. The report also explores the characteristics of high-quality elementary science programs and maps out necessary goals and next steps to ensure all K-5 students have outstanding elementary science educations.
